Passion to Purpose: Community Fun Event

Recreation centers are a staple of many communities, and a vital resource for young people looking to discover positive outlets and opportunities for development. Recognizing this, I oversaw the development of a community event celebrating the value of recreation centers by encouraging young people to take advantage of their programming. Additionally, we used our budget for the event to make a charitable donation of several high-quality basketballs to the Barack Recreation Center on the south side of Columbus.

These designs were sized for both print and Instagram to promote the information for the event and encourage high school students to register for our 3 v 3 basketball tournament.

After our team was forced to make several last minute changes to the plan for the event, each of the following designs were posted to update people via social media who had already registered or expressed interest in attending. The final three photos when viewed on Instagram create a seamless transitional effect.
